Ten years have passed since an unknown alien species invaded Earth. Hundreds of unmanned alien weapons platforms armed with deadly nanogens were unleashed throughout the solar system.

Dr. Alex Denyer has been deactivating the remaining platforms, hoping to contain the nanogens and find a cure for those already afflicted including his son.
